    Great that works and damn I was so close — I modified the page.php:

    if ($slider == ‘on’): // Begin slider code

    to

    if ($slider == ‘on’ && !is_category()): // Begin slider code

    I didn’t thought it should be the index.php — I guess I need to grab some books on wordpress and php ~ 🙂

    Well I found a good plugin which solved my problem:

    Again I found the solution myself:

    . Go to “All features”
    . Hover the mouse on the feature and the ID is in the link (see attachment)

    Thanks for your reply but there is still one thing I do not understand that is the meaning of “ids”.

    I can not find out the “ID” of my features (see attachment) ~

    I found a solution myself, it might not be the perfect one but it works for me and I’d like to share it here:

    edit header-content.php – after line #36 add:

    qtrans_generateLanguageSelectCode( 'both' );

    edit qTranslate_widget.php – modify #115:

    echo '<li style="float:left; margin-left:20px; padding-right:20px; padding-top:30px;"';

    and that’s it 🙂
