Wow! Thank you so much for going the extra mile. I’ll look into doing this in the next few days.

I’ll grab the free version for web use… 🙂

Okay, I’m back again on the font thing. For the most part, the guys are happy with the font baked into the header image, but it would be nice to be able to use it for larger headings (h1).

The font in question is called Neuropol X, and it’s available as free for commercial use from dafont.com.

    Thanks,

I think I’m in good shape here now, so you can go ahead and close the thread. I will say it’s something I’ve never experienced before, and I’ve been using WordPress since there’s been WordPress. Very strange.

Anyway, except for the rocky change-over, I really like Blackoot, and I like the way almost everything in both the Pro and Lite versions work — even if the two do work a little differently from each other (specifically in the way header graphics and text work). Thanks for your work in making these themes available.

    Cheers!

Okay, thanks. The only place I really needed it was in the site title. For now, I’ve baked it into the logo file, and that may be good enough for this particular site. I’m waiting on feedback from my “client” (the rest of the members of my band). If they want to be able to use it elsewhere on the site, like for headers, I’ll be back in touch.

    Thanks again!

    Cheers!

Well, yes things were wiped out. I’ve been using WordPress since it came out. I currently maintain 15 different WordPress sites, and I really can tell when things change. Please don’t tell me what’s happening on my site. None of the widget settings were retained. My custom menu order was changed (my main menu was wiped, and it all ended up in the secondary menu). Anyway, at this point, I’ve managed to get things back the way they belonged.

All the additional functionality is, indeed, worth the price of admission. But, I think you need to buy me a beer! 🙂

All the widget settings (settings within the widgets themselves) were wiped, all the menus I’d built got wiped out. Page and post formatting got broken. All the stuff that WordPress usually remembers when you change themes. I have the technology. I can rebuild it. I can make it better than it was before. But, I’ve lost a few hours. Bugger.
