    Amen!
    Nevertheless, many thanks for your affort to help me.
    I’ll try to disable some plugins and stuff later on the page, to see if this glitch is caused by any of them.

    Greetings

    The funny thing is, that i “don’t” have the IE9 installed, it’s up to date on my Machine aka IE11.
    I have no clue why the IE11 is switching back to the IE9 rendering engine, maybe it’s realy caused by my CSS-modifications, maybe the order or wrong formating … to be honest, i’am a little noobish at this task, since i did webprogramming/-styling “actively” a long time ago.

    I use simple custom CSS and just switched some background-/hover- and other similar colors and did hide the TAG- and Category-Sections. Maybe you can tell me what i did wrong…these are the only CSS-modifications i use on the page (the searchform-recolorations i did today, so this hasn’t caused the problem):

    .tags {
        display: none;
    }

    .post-category {
        display: none;
    }

    #tagline {
    	color: #a14a36;
    }

    #navbar .current-menu-item a {
    	background-color: #522116;
    }

    #navbar .menu-item:hover a {
      	background-color: #a14a36;
    }

    #navbar .menu-item li:hover a {
      	background-color: #c0614b;
    }

    #page-container .page_nav div {
      	background-color: #c0614b;
    }

    #page-container .article_nav div {
      	background-color: #c0614b;
    }

    #page-container h3.entry-title a:hover {
      	color: #a14a36;
    }

    #searchform input {
      	background-color: #a14a36;
    }

    #searchform input:hover {
      	background-color: #c0614b;
    }

    #searchform input:focus {
      	background-color: #522116;
    }

    #searchform #searchsubmit {
    	background-color: #522116;
    }

    #sub-footer a {
      	color: #a14a36;
    }

    .meta-date {
      	background-color: #a14a36;
    }

    .meta-author {
      	color: #ffffff;
      	background-color: #c0614b;
    }

    .more-link {
    	color: #a14a36;
    }

    .more-link:hover {
    	color: #e7917d;
    }

    PS.: Now i’am even more confused, i used your example and it did crash the IE again, then i reverted back to the meta-code from the friend and it keeps crashing … argh -,-

    PS².: Now it works again, this is madness^^
