Note about WordPress 5.0:
Our themes are compatible with WordPress 5.0. However not all functionality are guaranteed to work as expected with the new editor (Gutenberg) that comes with 5.0.

We highly recommend installing the Classic Editor plugin, which will bring back the usual editor if you run into any issue or just do not like the new editor.

An update to bring full compatibility with Gutenberg is being worked on, but has been postponed because of the recent fast-paced evolution of the Gutenberg project until WP 5.0 release. More info about the release of WordPress 5.0 announced on a short 2-days notice can be found here: New 5.0 Target Date.

    Menus arr not working

    I am having an issue where I am trying out the Blackoot Lite theme and my menus are not working. I have tried to disable all of my plugins, Akismet, Disable Comments, Jetpack, User Role Editor, and Wordfence, and there is no difference to the functionality. If I view page source I’m seeing the menu code but for some reason the main menu doesn’t appear. If I switch to Twenty Twenty the menus appear.

    Hello,

    By looking at your page’s source code, there is some CSS added to your site which hides the navbar element.

    From what I see, this code seems to have been added to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
    If you look there, you should find this:

    #navbar {
      display:none;
    }

    Remove this bit of code and the menu should appear as expected.

    Thank you. Not sure how that got there but that fixed it. I appreciate the help.
