Hi,
I want my site to be all white but where my logo is there is a light grey background. Can this be made white? I currently have it set to all black..
David
I’ve set it back to white so you can see what I mean…
Hi David,
The header area has a partially transparent grey-ish background on top of the main background colour. This makes it appear a bit darker than the rest with the default settings. (unless you set the main background to pitch black, in which case this makes no difference!)
To be exact, this is rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3) whichs means black at 30% opacity.
You can disable it by adding this to Appearance > Theme Options > Code & CSS > Custom CSS:
#header { background: transparent; }
This will make the header fully transparent so it show the actual main background that is under it.
Thank you. Done!
