Note about WordPress 5.0:
Our themes are compatible with WordPress 5.0. However not all functionality are guaranteed to work as expected with the new editor (Gutenberg) that comes with 5.0.

We highly recommend installing the Classic Editor plugin, which will bring back the usual editor if you run into any issue or just do not like the new editor.

An update to bring full compatibility with Gutenberg is being worked on, but has been postponed because of the recent fast-paced evolution of the Gutenberg project until WP 5.0 release. More info about the release of WordPress 5.0 announced on a short 2-days notice can be found here: New 5.0 Target Date.

    Hi,

    There was indeed a glitch with footer widget sizes in the theme ; thanks for reporting it!

    This is now fixed in version 1.3.10, released a few minutes ago.
    Please make sure to update to this latest version, and it should work as expected. (It should be available in your wp-admin in in Dashboard > Update, try to hit “check again” if it doesn’t appear yet)

    The horizontal scrolling on mobile is caused by this line in your custom CSS (added with the “so css” plugin):

    #footer .container>ul {
      width: 1170px !important;
    }

    Forcing these elements to a width that is larger than a mobile screen width breaks the responsiveness and make the site scrollable.
    If removing this line is not an option, you can add a max-width instruction to limit the width to 100%. This will prevent it from becoming larger than the screen and should fix this issue:

    #footer .container>ul {
      width: 1170px !important;
      max-width: 100%;
    }
