Hey, hope all and everyone is well on your end. Quick question (I hope): I’ve been optimizing my site for speed and came across an article concerning retina support for images. I was planning on using the WP Retina 2x plug-in, but then I read a piece about how you can let WordPress themes resize the images for you, if you upload them slightly larger than your max width.
Is this possible, or would you recommend using the plug-in?
Oh, I found a support ticket where you recomend the WP Retina 2x plugin. I guess that answers my question! Thanks for the resources.
Hi, glad you could find an answer easily (and more quickly than I could reply 🙂 )
Letting WordPress resize images automatically can work, but I would definitely recommend using a specialised plugin like this one if you want more control over what is going on with your images.
