Note about WordPress 5.0:
Our themes are compatible with WordPress 5.0. However not all functionality are guaranteed to work as expected with the new editor (Gutenberg) that comes with 5.0.

We highly recommend installing the Classic Editor plugin, which will bring back the usual editor if you run into any issue or just do not like the new editor.

An update to bring full compatibility with Gutenberg is being worked on, but has been postponed because of the recent fast-paced evolution of the Gutenberg project until WP 5.0 release. More info about the release of WordPress 5.0 announced on a short 2-days notice can be found here: New 5.0 Target Date.

    Hi, it’s a very nice theme and I love it. But, when I change the main-color of the theme in the option the comment box also changes to that color when hovered or focused, which is too bright to read and write in. (As you can see in the attachment.)

    Is there any way I can keep the same color when it’s normal as well as focused?

    Cheers.

    Hi! This is certainly possible with a bit of Custom CSS to alter the color used for fields and text boxes when focused.

    Please copy/paste the following into Appearance > Theme Options > Code & CSS > Custom CSS:

    input[type="text"]:focus,
    input[type="password"]:focus,
    input[type="email"]:focus,
    textarea:focus {
        background-color: #333333;
    }

    This will make fields and boxes a slightly lighter shade of grey when focused, instead of using the “main color”.

    If you also want to change the “submit” button which is not very legible with white text on bright green, you can also add this to make it black instead:

    input[type="submit"] {
        background: black;
    }
