Features provide a convenient way to showcase your key selling points.
For example, a web agency could use them to highlight the following main aspects of their service: “Webdesign”, “Hosting”, “E-Marketing”, “Custom development” etc.
Each “feature” gets a title, short content, small image (icon), and a “read more” link that you will want to point to a page with more details.
Step #1: Creating your “Features”
- From your admin panel, go to Features > Add new.
- Give your feature a title, short content and paste the url you want the “read more” link to point to.
- Optionally upload an icon as “featured image”.
- Hit Publish and rince and repeat for every feature you would like to showcase.
Step #2a: Displaying your features in a content/home page using a shortcode
While editing a page, click the Feature icon in the visual editor.
A popup will let you add an optional section title, limit the number of features to display and choose the width of each item (1/4, 1/3, 1/2 or full width).
Step #2b: Using the widget
If you would rather showcase your main features in a sidebar, simply drop the “Icefit Features” widget in the desired sidebar to activate it.
